Our Mother and Grandmother, Anna Hiebert Barkman of Reedley, went to be with the Lord on January 24th at the age of 91 years, 10 months. She was born in Hillsboro, Kansas on March 17, 1915. She accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and Lord as a teen-ager and later was baptized. She married David Buschman Barkman of Enid, Oklahoma in 1935, in Kansas. Anna Barkman was predeceased by her husband in 1982. She is survived by three daughters, Lola Barkman Penner and her husband, Marvin of Visalia, Glenna Barkman Willems Lundberg and her husband, John of Visalia, Margorie Barkman Sellers of Portland Oregon; sister, Sally H. Isaac; brother, Herman J.Hiebert. She has eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She leaves a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted under the direction of Peters Funeral Home for Anna Hiebert Barkman. The public is invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, February 24, at 2:00 pm, at Palm Haven in Reedley. Flowers may be sent to Palm Village for the Memorial Service on the 24th..
