Anna "Ann" Rachel Enns, 99, of Reedley, California, passed away on March 15, 2025.

Ann was born in Paxton, Nebraska on March 31, 1925, to JP Fast and Anna Ratzlaff. She was one of eight siblings - Alan, Ernie, Esther, Harry, Jack, Ruth and Helen. In 1936, her family moved to California to have a better life. Ann completed her education at Reedley High School and went on to study at Pacific Bible Institute (now Fresno Pacific University), where she was part of the first graduating class in 1946.

Ann took pride in her work ethic and always found ways to contribute. Growing up, she worked as a housekeeper, at the Libby McNeal cannery, in retail at JC Penney, and at Heney's jewelry store. Later, she worked at Reedley Hospital and Alta Hospital in Dinuba, roles that reflected her lifelong commitment to helping others.

In 1946, Ann met David Enns. After his health improved from contracting Polio, they were married December 19, 1947. Together, they ran a small grocery store, Kings River Grocery, while raising their children, Greg and Cindy.

Of all the jobs and roles she had, Ann's greatest calling was caring for others. Moving to Palm Village in 2004, she visited fellow residents often, especially those who were sick and in need of friendship. In her final days, those around her spoke highly of her kindness, care, and the presence she carried.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her daughter Cindy, and husband David. She is survived by her son, Greg, and his wife Debbie; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ogden (Phil) and Julie Doris (Dana); and great-grandchildren, Ryan Ogden, Jack Ogden, Ellie Doris, and Audrey Doris.

A graveside service will be held at Reedley Cemetery at 9 AM on March 31, 2025, followed by a memorial service at Palm Village at 10 AM to celebrate Ann's life.
