Anita Perez July 26, 1937 – February 20, 2007 A viewing for Anita was held on Sunday, February 25 from 2-5:30 at Arvin Funeral Home followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm to 8pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Arvin. Father Lucas Azpericueta of St. Thomas Catholic Church officiated the service followed by interment at South Kern Cemetery District. Anita Perez was born July 26, 1937 in Merced, Ca. to Candallario and Petra Perez. She was raised in Fresno then came to this area in 1962 were she married Arcadio Perez in Bakersfield. Anita worked in Agriculture around Arvin. She was a very religious woman who liked collecting angels and liked traveling to the beach. Anita is survived by her husband, Arcadio Perez; her sons, Danny and Able Perez; her brother, Raymond Perez; her sisters, Connie P. Godinez and Mickey P. Garcia; her grandchildren, Danny Perez Jr., Adam Perez, Lorie Perez, Adrian Perez, Abraham Perez, Andrew Perez, and Yenei Perez; and a great-grandchild, Xavier Perez. Anita is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Perez.
