Angel Vargas quietly closed his eyes forever after being with us for a couple of days. Parents Jesus and Maria Guadalupe Vargas held Angel and covered him in kisses while they had the opportunity. Angel Vargas was born on July 7, 2010 in Bakersfield Ca. at Memorial Hospital. Angel was very much anticipated and many family members were looking forward to his birth. On July 10, 2010 very shortly after midnight, Angel was forever in the arms of his great creator. Angel's family was not blessed with the opportunity to see him grow up, nor will they be able to ever hear his laugh or wipe his tears away, they will however hold on to the precious few moments they had with Angel. His bright light will shine in their hearts forever. The last words of Angels mother as he lay in his incubator …. "My Angel, A mothers Angel, With my heart at ache I hand you father my son, Without a grudge, without the question "Why", Better yet I Thank You for coming into my life, Even though your departure was too soon, with the few moments that I held you in my arms you filled my heart with joy and happiness. May God have you at peace in Heaven We will remember you Angel and we will love you for an eternity." Angel is survived by his parents Jesus and Maria G. Vargas, brothers Jesus Vargas Jr. and Christian Vargas; Grandmother's Agustina Perez and Guadalupe Arevalo, and by many friends of the family. A loving extended family, a beautiful church family. Father Pedro Umaña of St. Therese's Catholic Church officiate a graveside service for Angel Vargas, of Shafter, on Wednesday July 14, 2010 at 2pm at Shafter Memorial Park.
