Funeral services will be Friday, July 28, 2006, 11 AM, at the Apostolic Assembly of Lamont Church with Interment immediately following at South Kern Cemetery District. Alice De La Rosa, born in Austin, Texas on December 11, 1946, passed away July 22, 2006, at the age of 59 years old. She is survived by four brothers, Joe De La Rosa Jr. from Oregon, David De La Rosa from Lamont, Adolfo De La Rosa from Lamont, Eduardo De La Rosa from Lompoc, CA. Six sisters, Celia Sanchez from Bakersfield, Ofelia Macias from Oregon, Olivia Munoz from Bakersfield, Mary Esther Zavala from Lamont, Olga De La Rosa from Lamont, and Rosalie De La Rosa Pereida from Lake Isabella. Her beloved adopted family, Alice, little Deena, Rueben from Lamont, and one Aunt Virginia Alvarado from Lamont. Many nephews, nieces and cousins who loved her and will miss her very much. Alice was employed by Frank H. Guidera Farms and was a loyal employee to Mr. Frank and Mrs. Davia Guidera for 25 years. She was a crew boss. She will be missed by her close friends. Alice will always be remembered for her childish laughter, and her cute sense of humor.
