Alice May Allard, 98, of Shafter, California, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, having lived a full and beautiful life. She was born on February 22, 1928, in Oilton, Oklahoma, and from her earliest days, Alice carried a quiet strength that would define everything she did.

Alice was, above all else, a devoted mother. She raised five children on her own, and she never hesitated to put their needs before her own. She always said her kids came first, and anyone who knew her could see that was the truth she lived by every single day. Her strength and selflessness shaped the family she loved so dearly.

Alice had a true artist's spirit. She loved creating artwork, and she had a special gift for crafting ceramic dolls, a passion that earned her several awards over the years. Her pieces reflected the care and attention she brought to everything in her life.

She was a woman with a strong heart and an even stronger faith. Alice was a devoted member of Seventh Standard Pentecostal Church in Shafter, where she found community, purpose, and joy. Her love for God was at the center of who she was, and her faith carried her through every season of life. She now rests in the arms of the Lord she served so faithfully.

Alice is survived by her sons, Thomas Cordray, Billy Cordray and Charles Cordray. She was preceded in death by her beloved son James Cordray and daughter, Charlynn McCarthy.

She was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
