Ms. Alice Ann Church, 72 Certified Nurse's Aid Ms. Alice Ann Church, a native of Seattle, Wash., a 40-year resident of California and a 10-year resident of Morongo Valley, Calif., died on November 12, 2009 at Desert Regional Medical Center of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. She was 72 years old. She was born on May 15, 1937 to Basil Bonner and Anna Florence (Spalding) Morris in Seattle, Wash. Alice Ann Church was married for 25 years to Lamont Hooper, who preceded her in death. Ms. Church is survived by brothers Ted Racz of Morongo Valley, Calif. and Elwin D. Morris Jr. of Bakersfield, Calif.; nephews John Racz of Morongo Valley, Calif., Tim Racz of Ocean Springs, Missi. and Thomas Racz of Miami, Flori.; niece Tammy Racz of Ocean Springs, Missi.; 15 grand-nieces; 7 grand-nephews; and 6 great grand-nieces & nephews. She retired as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at a Nursing Home after 10 years. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009, 1:00 p.m. at the Church of the Lighted Cross in Morongo Valley, Calif, which Pastor Scott will officiate.
