Obituary

Corinthians 15:22 "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." Brothers and sisters, today we lost a great man that made the saying "taking the shirt off his back to help others" an understatement. No matter how hard and rough he himself had it, his mind was in helping others first. But today we weep for the loss but the gain is greater because he is in the Kingdom of God and suffers no more as is written in Revelation 21:4, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former are things passed away." He was employed by Tracy Ranch for over 4o years. He remained loyal to his job until the end. Appreciation is an understatement of what his family and countless friends felt for him. Alfredo Montoya Urias was a father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. May you hug us with your wings as a family united because you were the pillar that held us together. He leaves behind five children: Armando and his wife Rocio, Alfredo Jr and his wife Mony, Margarita and her husband Anthony, Cristina and her husband Victor, and Alejandro the youngest of the siblings. And all his twelve grandkids: Viviane, Josh, Edwin, Michael, Isaiah, Victoria, Edgar, Alexis, Ethan, Edward, Alyzae, and Jordan. He leaves behind his mother, five sisters and four brothers. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday July 23, 2013 at the family residence 17650 Rowlee Rd. in Buttonwillow from 7-10pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary. The Mass of the Resurrection will be officiated by Father Lucas Espericueta at St. John's Catholic Church of Wasco on Wednesday July 24, 2013 at 10am.
