Aldean June Reimer went peacefully to be with her Lord on January 20, 2013. She was born on June 8, 1928 in Bakersfield, California to Samuel and Dora Unruh. Aldean attended Bakersfield High School and Pacific Bible Institute. Aldean was a retired teacher's aide for special education students at Blair Learning Center as well as a part-time Nanny for several local families. She loved her Rosedale Bible Church family and was an active member until she entered Glenwood Gardens seven years ago because of health issues. Aldean enjoyed the ladies "Sewing Circle" with her life-long friends. Christmas was her favorite time of year. Gingerbread house making with all the grandchildren was a yearly highlight. Aldean is survived by her son Kevin and wife Sandra; daughter Claudia Moore and husband Gary; grandchildren Kara Reimer, Heather Lundin, Rebekah Blanchard, Christopher Moore, and Michelle Reimer. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Reimer and brother Lloyd Unruh. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 25 at 10am at Shafter Memorial Park for Aldean Reimer, age 84, who passed away January 20, 2013 in Bakersfield. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 24 from 2pm to 8pm at Peter's Funeral Home.
