Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco for Albert Carrasco, 53, on Saturday, September 8 from 2-8pm. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin that evening at 6pm. Albert passed away September 3, 2007 in Bakersfield. Albert was born November 11, 1953 in Bakersfield to Abelardo and Pauline Carrasco. He grew up in Wasco and attended Wasco schools. He enjoyed fishing and watching TV, especially football and baseball, and was known for his sweet tooth. Albert loved candy! Albert is survived by two daughters, Ida Martinez and husband, Narcicio, and Josephina Raya and husband, Miguel; two sisters, Sally Lopez and husband, Victor Sr., and Arlene Carrasco; grandchildren, Miguel Jr., Sophia and Sammy Raya; nieces and nephews, Victor Jr. and Vincent Lopez, Drason, Makaylee and Cierra Moore; and his best friend, Julian Castillo. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and by good friend, Willie Stewart.
