Albert Gene Calvert, a native of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, a 51 year resident of California and a 51 year resident of Twentynine Palms, California died May 02, 2009 at his home. The cause of death was due to a brief illness. He was 80 years old at the time of his death. He was born June 16, 1928. His father was Albert B. Calvert and his mother was Margaret C. Brown. Albert was married to Joy Calvert for 61 years and owned B&B Towing & Auto Dismantling for 51 years. He is survived by his wife Joy Calvert of Twentynine Palms, CA, sons Steve Calvert of Twentynine Palms, CA, Michael Calvert of Twentynine Palms, CA, Larry Calvert of Twentynine Palms, Bryon Calvert of Signal Hill, CA, daughter Cynthia Priese of Twentynine Palms, CA as well as 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Albert Calvert's name be made to Shriner's Children Hospital. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
