IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Agustina
Villarreal
December 31, 1937 – March 5, 2023
Agustina Huerta Villarreal was born to Felipe Huerta and Mercedes Cano on December 31, 1937, in General Teran, Nuevo Leon Mexico. She was the youngest of six siblings, Dolores Fernandez, Jesusa Ruelas, Guadalupe Cano, Telesforo Huerta and Felipe Huerta. Agustina married Emerico B Villarreal in 1951 and they started their family in Mexico and later moved to the United States. They were blessed with 11 children, Maria Alicia (Mary Alice) Lopez (Frank), Pablo (Esperanza), Pedro (Juliana), Aurora Vazquez, Maria de los Angeles Valenzuela, Emerico, Leroy, Atanacio (Star), Javier, Jerardo and Mercedes. Agustina was a beautiful human being, very loving, strong, hardworking and an independent woman who loved God and her family. Like most families they migrated throughout California working in farm labor and finally settling in Arvin.
After Dads passing in 2004, Mom dedicated her time to serving the Lord at St. Thomas Church in Arvin, CA and enjoyed a little traveling too. She loved gardening, crafting, and was talented at crocheting and sewing. Agustina loved and adored all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was not only our mother, but the Matriarch of our family and she will truly be missed. We Thank God, for this strong, loving and beautiful woman that we were blessed to call our mother. She will live in our hearts forever.
Agustina is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Emerico, her parents, siblings Jesusa, Dolores, Telesforo and Felipe and her grandsons Omar Vazquez and Jacob Valenzuela. She is survived by her Sister Guadalupe Cano and all her Children, 32 (and 1 Great-Great-Granddaughter due in May).
