Agapita Najera Garcia was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on September 21, 1925 to Vicente and Manuela Najera. It was in Mexico that Agapita met and married the love of her life Zeferino. They were married for over 60 years and together they had 12 beautiful children. Agapita was a loving wife and a caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family who brought her so much joy in her life. On June 28, 2016, Agapita passed away surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by children, Micaela Juarez, Manuela Almazan, Mary Lou Gonzalez, Maria Elena Rodriguez, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Agapita is proceeded in death by her husband, Zeferino; children, Feliciana Salazar, Delia Flores, Socorro Garcia, Paulina Garcia, Pablo Garcia, Inocencio Garcia, Tomas Garcia, Zeferino Garcia Jr. A visitation was held at Arvin Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 5-8pm. A Graveside Service was held at Union Cemetery on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 11am officiated by Pastor Eddie Garza.
