Adam John Childress was born in Hammond, Indiana on January 25,1979 to Brenda Miller and Ronald Piercy. Adam passed away quietly on November 11, 2024 in Bakersfield, California. Adam grew up in Hutsonville, Illinois where he made life long friends and everlasting memories. In November 1998, Adam moved to Bakersfield to grow his family and start a career alongside Michael Boden. Adam had a love for agriculture and was very passionate about his work. He truly loved what he did for a living. He was an extremely intelligent man who furthered his education at Taft College and received a degree in Business Administration. I'm 2015, Adam started a business of his own called H2SO4 Service & Repair. Adam lived everyday to the fullest and passed away doing what he loved. Adam loved to help others and never failed to light up a room. Adam is survived by his wife Marcy Fosdick; two children McKenzie and Pacey Childress, as well as his step children Zackary, Keatton and Bostyn and Bonus kid Darius. He leaves behind a brother Dustin and many family and friends who will miss him dearly. Services will be held at Peters Funeral Home on December 16th at 11am, followed by a celebration of life at 1933 from 1-4pm.
